You are welcome to visit Svanholm in a number of different ways, see below. Please note that Svanholm is also the home of about 130 persons who value their privacy, so please limit your visit to the options described on this page.
You are welcome at our Cafee-shop, open Saturday and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. If you are looking for fresh vegetables, we also have a small vegetable-shop.
Guided tours for individuals
The tours starts by the cafee/shop, address Svanholm Gods 16A.
Guided tours for individuals take place every Sunday from May to September. The tour starts at 11:00 AM, and takes about one and a half hour. The tour ends at the shop where coffee and Svanholm/Hansen icecream is served.
Price: DKK 120 per person - coffee and icecream included. Children up to 12 years are free when accompanied by an adult, but will have to pay for icecream etc.
Guided tours for Groups.
You have your own guide and can get the story you are interested in. The tour takes about one and a half hour and ends at the shop where coffee and Svanholm icecream is served. While you enjoy the coffee and the special Svanholm icecream flavour there will be time to ask questions.
The group tour must be booked in advance.
Price: DKK 100 per person, minimum DKK 1000. Children up to 12 years are free when accompanied by adults. For very big groups, we'll provide two guides. Coffee and icecream is DKK 60 per person. Lunch is also an option, please ask for details.
Twice each year we open up the area for visitors:
Cows-on-grass day, a Sunday in the middle of April
Harvest celebration, a Sunday end August or start September

On market days there will be guided tours that takes about one hour (coffee and icecream not included). Note that the meeting point waries - there will be programs at the area that note the place.
It is possible to stay at Svanholm for an extended period as a volunteer. As a volunteer you participate in daily tasks in e.g. the kitchen, on the farm or doing maintenance and repair jobs. Read more about the conditions here.
